Research experience:
Professor. Xin Chen is assistant dean of Chemical Engineering and Technology and Head of the Institute of Polymer Science in Chemical Engineering, Xi'an Jiao Tong University. He was appointed as "Young Talent support plan" Professor at 2015 and "Hundred Young Talent Program of Shanxi Province" Professor at 2017. In 2017, he was appointed as Honor Professor at The Fourth Military Medical University and at Sichuan University of Science & Engineering. Prof. Chen has published over 50 papers, 3 book chapters and 8 patents as the corresponding author and/or first author in the fields of biomedicine and material science, including Nature Biomedical Engineering, ACS Nano, Advanced Functional Materials and Biomaterials. Prof. Chen was also invented to be the Editorial Board Member of Journal of Biomedical Engineering and Informatics, Journal of Tissue Science and Engineering, the Guest Editor of Current Nanomaterials, Journal of Research Updates in Polymer Science, And the Reviewer of the many international journals including Angewandte Chemie International Edition, ACS Nano, Advanced Materials and Advanced Functional Materials.
