Research experience:
Dr. Hao Wu received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. in materials science from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China, and as a visiting scholar worked in Institute of Physical Metallurgy and Metal Physics (IMM) at RWTH Aachen University, Germany, for one year.
Currently he works in the School of Materials Science and Engineering, University of Jinan, China, and focuses on (i) plastic deformation of intermetallic compounds; (ii) overcoming strength-ductility trade-off by microstructural heterogeneity; and (iii) visualization of digital image correlation (DIC) strain evolution.
