Dr. Lai received Ph.D in Chemical and Materials Engineering from National Central University, Taiwan in 2008. He has joined the Department of Material Science and Engineering, NTHU since 2007, and now is the senior visiting scholar. Dr. Lai created TaiBuddha technology Co., Ltd for Landscape Design and cooperated with Airtree technology Co., Ltd to launch AirWater fertilizer and IOT system for aeroponics in 2018. His research interests involve smart agriculture, surface science and engineering, injection molding and 3D printing, as well as the characterization of material by electron microscopy. He is life time member of association of CAE molding technology and Taiwan association for coating and thin film technology
